Olivia obtained a BSc in Physiotherapy from York St John’s University. Alongside her degree, she completed a wide range of NHS clinical placements across North Yorkshire, gaining experience in trauma and orthopaedics, musculoskeletal (MSK) outpatients, stroke rehabilitation, learning disabilities, neurology outpatients, A&E, and elderly care within acute medical units.
After three years of NHS clinical placements and a further year at Dynamic Health Centre, Olivia has developed a strong foundation across a range of clinical areas, with an interest in musculoskeletal health specifically working with senior patients older than 65 years of age.
Olivia is particularly passionate about working with older adults, believing that high-quality, preventive physiotherapy can transform quality of life in later years. She values the importance of early strength-based rehabilitation, falls prevention, and helping patients maintain independence for as long as possible.
Olivia spent significant time within the NHS working with this demographic, delivering prevention classes and Parkinson’s disease exercise groups. She enjoys taking the time to truly get to know her patients, understanding their stories, goals, and challenges so she can provide compassionate, patient-centred care. Her approach focuses on building confidence, improving functional strength, and supporting individuals to stay active, independent, and resilient.
In addition to her work with seniors, Olivia’s interests also extend to specialised rehabilitation for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and those recovering from stroke.
