Jonathan Shurr

Jonathan Shurr

Senior Chiropractor

Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Biomedical Science, BSc (Hons)

Master of Chiropractic Degree, MChiro

Jon has over seven years of experience helping people recover from pain, injury and persistent musculoskeletal conditions across multidisciplinary healthcare settings and established family chiropractic practices.

Jon believes that understanding your pain is one of the most important steps towards overcoming it. He takes time to listen carefully, explain what’s happening in clear, straightforward language and work with each patient to build a personalised plan that helps them return to the activities they enjoy with confidence. Treatment combines hands-on chiropractic care, tailored rehabilitation exercises and practical advice to help patients achieve lasting improvements.

Jon has a particular interest in helping people who have been living with pain for months—or even years—without finding lasting answers. He also enjoys helping older adults stay active, maintain their independence and continue doing the things they love, whether that’s keeping up with grandchildren, gardening, travelling or returning to sport.

Alongside clinical practice, Jon has completed additional postgraduate training in pain management and movement rehabilitation and serves on the steering committee of the Chiropractic International Research Collaborative (CIRCuit), helping him stay up to date with the latest research so patients receive care that reflects current best practice.

Outside the clinic, Jon enjoys running, rock climbing and spending time in the mountains with friends and family. Having completed the Manchester Marathon and climbed for over 20 years, he understands the determination it takes to recover from injury and return to the activities you love.
